Close focus is better for capturing eyes and expression - the hallmark traits of a dog's personality. A headshot or close body portrait allows viewers to see into the dog's eyes. It is the way we look at people, too. But if you want something different, let's talk!
Complete with posing table, backdrop options, professional lighting, and sample portraits. From the outside, it may appear to be a new, white horse trailer with charcoal graphics...but you can't judge a studio by its cover! Come on out and see!
It is not a must, but I prefer it. Good lighting helps define portrait photography as much as it does portrait paintings. Lighting adds contrast and dimension and, especially important, gives light to the eyes. I've had very, very few dogs not like the flash. If a dog does happen to be anxious or suspicious about the quick pop of light, I won't use it.
It is as safe for dogs as it would be for horses, with non-slip flooring, no sharp protrusions, and a heavy-duty bar to which dogs can be secured if need be. The entire trailer can be closed up for added safety; in fact, it usually is.
He doesn't!
I don't. I reserve the right to determine my own level of safety and comfort before and during a session.
Lifelong! So I know how it is to be competitive and time-bound at an event. But I also know what it is like to say goodbye to canine best friends and have no lovely images of them to see and enjoy every time I walk into a room. It will be an honor to change that for you.
